Bondi was created after the recent events at Bondi stayed with me longer than I expected. Painting became a way to process what felt hard to name. The blue in this work is the water, alive with movement, memory and connection. The yellow is the sand, holding stories, grounding us, reminding us that Country endures. The lines reflect currents of grief and hope moving together, and the paths we share as community. Making this piece helped me slow down and find steadiness again. It honours the place, the people, and the quiet healing that happens when we create through art.
